7th & 8th Grade

From Mr. Ocariz, February 23rd, 2017

Even if it doesn’t feel like it, it is still winter. Let’s not get our guard down because winter can come roaring back like a lion. These temperatures are letting us enjoy PE outside!

As you are reading this, the 7th and 8th graders are enjoying three days of outdoor activities and companionship at Wolf Ridge Environmental Center in northern Minnesota.

It is hard to believe that we are well past the middle point of the school year! The students in 7/8th grade science class are learning about the different body systems and homeostasis. In history they are studying the period be-tween World War I and World War II, the Roaring Twenties. In religion persecution of the Church in the French Revolution is the topic. In Spanish class, each grade is working on many things.

In the blink of an eye, the real spring is going to be upon us. As always, keep fit in body and soul and God bless.
