B.A. in Management with a concentration in Accounting, B.S. In Elementary Education, and M.S. in Educational Leadership.
Kathy began teaching at SFdS in 2009. She was named Principal in June 2012, after making the needed progress through her Master’s in Educational Leadership program. After teaching half-time, due to the increased enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year, Kathy is now dedicated full time to administrative duties.
Kathy lives near Haugen with her husband and three children. She has a son attending UW-Madison with a major in nuclear engineering, another son finishing up his senior year homeschooling and a daughter who is a freshman at Rice Lake High School. They have a dog and a cat and love to travel and camp as a family. Kathy also enjoys reading and scrapbooking.
Kathy has converted to the Catholic faith since joining the SFdS community; she credits this in great part to prayer time with the students. She is a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales and also serves as a lector.
“SFdS is such a wonderful caring, family atmosphere. I truly believe that God led me to SFdS because I needed such a small close-knit “family” to work with. The stress and other challenges connected to teaching in a public school were having an effect on my health and physical well-being. Here, I am really, really happy—I love getting up each morning to come and be with my SFdS family!”
